PRODUCT PHOTO GUIDE

Your shop. Your photos. Your mark.

Add a consistent logo to the photos you share on social media, in a lookbook or with a customer. Keep the originals for your storefront.

  1. Start with a small, mixed batch

Open the studio and choose a few product photos, including a landscape and a portrait image. Your photos are processed in the browser on your device; they are not uploaded. Keep the source files as your master copies.

  2. Use a transparent logo, or just your shop name

Choose “Image / logo” and select a transparent PNG for a clean edge. A JPEG logo includes its rectangular background. If you do not have a logo file, choose “Text” and type your shop name or portfolio URL. Luna does not add its own logo.

  3. Set the position, then check every framing

Try the bottom-right position with a modest size. Drag to refine it and adjust opacity until it is readable against your photo. The settings apply proportionally to the whole batch, so inspect each thumbnail: a position that clears one product may cover another. Split batches when compositions need different placements.

  4. Export copies at the original pixel dimensions

Start the free first month when you are ready to export. Choose JPG for opaque product photos or PNG when transparency matters, then click “Create copies”. Download individually or as a ZIP. On supported iPhone browsers, use “Share photos” and “Save Images”; otherwise download to Files. Download before closing the tab.

A useful starting point

Try a logo width of 10–20% and opacity around 50–75%, then inspect it at the size people will actually see. These are starting points, not quality guarantees. Avoid covering product details, and keep a little space from the edge.

Where a watermark belongs

A shop logo can help identify a shared image, but it cannot prevent copying, cropping or removal. Keep clean copies for marketplaces or advertising placements that restrict added text and logos, and check their current image requirements before publishing.

iPhone, HEIC and large photos

JPEG, PNG and still WebP are supported. HEIC / HEIF works only when your browser can decode that specific file; if it cannot, convert a copy to JPEG or PNG on your device first. Live Photos use the selected still image only. RAW, video, SVG and animated or multi-frame files are unsupported.

What “original dimensions” means

The exported copy keeps its pixel width and height, including the supported source orientation. JPEG is recompressed; EXIF / GPS, HDR and original color profiles are not retained. Keep your originals. The limits are 40 photos per batch and 50 MB per file; mobile uses a 16 MP / 8192px edge limit, desktop 40 MP / 16384px. Oversized files are rejected rather than automatically reduced. Older devices may need smaller batches.

Choose the workflow that fits

For a single occasional image, a built-in editor may be enough. Luna is for repeatedly applying the same text or logo to a batch in a simple English / Traditional Chinese interface. Try your usual files in the free preview before starting a subscription.
